Pastor Ryan Wysong and his family were called to plant Brave Church with a simple goal—to help people connect with God so that they might reach their full potential. They held the first meeting of Brave Church with 10 people in their living room on October 9, 2022. Brave Church moved from a living room gathering to a barn on Preble County Line Road, to the Brookville Grille, to Studio 201 in downtown Brookville, and found its current home at the Brookville Board of Education building. With the help of the initial Launch Team, 30 people committed to seeing this dream become a reality, Brave Church held its first service on Sunday, March 5, 2023.  That Sunday, 111 people attended the first service at the Brookville Board of Education Building in Brookville, Ohio. From the beginning, Brave Church has focused on reaching those who do not know God personally and building relationships through serving the community. The life-giving message of the Gospel, the passion and joy of Sunday services, and the simple style of Brave brought immediate growth. In the first 7 months of Brave Church, we averaged 101 people in weekly attendance, and many people have committed their lives to Christ. God alone gets all the glory and the honor!
